Interview conducted by Alan Cherry as part of the LDS Afro-American Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 3 June 1987. Biggs talks of his early life and religious experiences in Bestmont, Alabama. He describes the relationships between blacks and whites in the South, on his courtship and marriage, his conversion to the Mormon Church, and comments on the experiences of other black Mormons.
